About Christine

I discovered my passion for birth over twenty-seven years ago, with the transformative experience of the birth of my third child. I had the privilege of attending my first birth in a support role in 2002, and decided to begin a journey as a full-time doula nine years ago! I believe that creating relationship, sharing knowledge, showing compassion, and bringing a gentle, caring spirit to the families I work with makes a difference—not just now but for the future as well.

I am passionate about supporting you from pregnancy through to postpartum so that you can have your best possible birth experience. Whether you’re a first time birther hoping to understand (and feel confident in) your birth options, or if you’re expecting a rainbow baby, or planning a VBAC, or if you’re a second time (or more) birther wanting to avoid repeat trauma, or if you just want to feel connected and supported in your journey—I’m here for you—to listen to your voice and be part of the story you experience through this birth.

Through  evidence-based  childbirth classes and the power of one-on-one continuous birth support, I work to empower you with the knowledge and care that has been proven to make a difference.

I am now also offering lactation support and foundational breast/chest feeding classes. From preparing in pregnancy to successfully feeding your baby, I am here to support your journey.

I am certified as a labour and birth doula with Doula Canada and as a childbirth educator through BirthWorks International. I am currently certifying as a lactation counsellor through Childbirth International. I have completed additional training in breastfeeding support, PAL support, holistic support and advanced comfort measures. I attended Spinning Babies® workshops in 2022 and 2025 and I am a member of the Association of Ontario Doulas.
