About Christine
I discovered my passion for birth over twenty-six years ago, with the transformative experience of the birth of my third child. I had the privilege of attending my first birth in a support role in 2002, and decided to begin a journey as a full-time doula eight years ago! I believe that creating relationship, sharing knowledge, showing compassion, and bringing a gentle, caring spirit to the families I work with makes a difference—not just now but for the future as well.
I am passionate about supporting birth from pregnancy through to postpartum so that each client can have their best possible birth experience. From a first time birther hoping to understand (and feel confident in) their birth choices, to a client expecting a rainbow baby, to one planning a VBAC, to a second (or more) time birther wanting to avoid repeat trauma, what connects them all is the desire to have a voice and be part of the story they live through this birth.
Through evidence-based childbirth classes and the power of one-on-one continuous birth support, I work to empower each client with the knowledge and care that has been proven to make a difference.
I am certified as a labour and birth doula with Doula Canada and as a childbirth educator through BirthWorks International. I have completed additional training in breastfeeding support, PAL support, holistic support and advanced comfort measures. I attended Spinning Babies® workshops in 2022 and 2025 and I am a member of the Association of Ontario Doulas. I am currently certifying as a lactation counsellor through Childbirth International.
I would love to journey with you!
